Welcome to Havfun by Zenastra Industries Private Limited ("we," "our," or "us"). Havfun is a campus social app that connects students through moments, social hangouts, communities, events, a marketplace, AI tools, and games. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our Android application available on the Google Play Store.
By downloading and using Havfun, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
- Full name, college name, email address, age, and password when you create an account
- Profile photo, bio, and Instagram handle when you update your profile
- Content you create: moments (text and images), marketplace listings, social hangout details, community posts, event information
- Messages and interactions through AI Avatar chat
- Journal entries, tasks, and notes (stored locally on your device only — never sent to our servers)
- Comments, likes, and reactions on moments
- Join requests for hangouts, communities, and events
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device location (GPS) when you host a Live Now social hangout — only at the moment of posting
- Firebase Analytics data: screen views, session duration, feature usage (anonymized)
- Crash reports and error logs to improve app stability
- Authentication tokens managed by Firebase Auth
2.3 Information from Third-Party Services
- Google Maps and Google Places API: location search queries when using Host Later feature
- Firebase services: authentication state, real-time database sync
- Groq API: AI Avatar chat messages (processed for response generation, not stored by us)
- Google Gemini API: Problem Solver images and Journal AI queries (processed for response generation, not stored by us)
3. How We Use Your Information
- To create and maintain your account
- To display your profile and content to other users
- To enable social features: posting moments, hosting/joining hangouts, communities, and events
- To power AI features: Avatar chat, Problem Solver, Journal AI search, Help assistant
- To send notifications for likes, comments, social activity, and app events
- To display your location-based social hangouts to nearby users
- To maintain the leaderboard with your game scores
- To improve app performance and fix bugs via analytics
- To send local device notifications for scheduled events and reminders
4. Data Storage and Security
4.1 Cloud Storage
Your account data, moments, marketplace listings, social posts, and notifications are stored in Google Firebase (Firestore and Firebase Storage), hosted on Google Cloud servers. Firebase is compliant with major security standards including SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR.
4.2 Local Device Storage
Your Journal entries, Tasks, and Notes are stored exclusively on your device using SQLite local storage. We do not have access to this data. It is not backed up to any server and will be deleted if you uninstall the app.
4.3 Security Measures
- All data transmitted between the app and Firebase is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS
- Firebase Authentication manages session tokens securely
- User passwords are never stored in plain text — Firebase Auth handles password hashing
- Firestore security rules restrict data access so users can only read/write their own data
- Profile images and moment photos are stored in Firebase Storage with access rules
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only in the following circumstances:
- With other Havfun users: your profile, moments, and social posts are visible to other authenticated users
- With Google Firebase: for database, authentication, and storage services
- With Google Maps/Places API: location search queries when using location features
- With Groq AI: chat messages processed to generate Avatar responses
- With Google Gemini AI: images and text sent to Problem Solver and Journal AI
- With law enforcement: if required by applicable law or valid legal process
- In case of business transfer: with prior notice to you
6. Your Rights and Choices
6.1 Access and Correction
You can view and edit your profile information at any time through the Profile screen in the app.
6.2 Data Deletion
You can delete your account and all associated data directly from the app: Mystery Hub tab → Delete Account. This permanently deletes your profile, moments, avatar, leaderboard records, and notifications from our servers.
6.3 Location Data
Location is only accessed when you tap 'Host Live Now'. You can deny location permission in your device settings and still use Host Later with manual location search.
6.4 Notifications
You can disable push notifications at any time through your device's notification settings for Havfun.
7. Children's Privacy
Havfun is intended for users aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at official@havefun4u.com and we will delete that information.

- Account data: retained until you delete your account
- Moments and posts: retained until you delete them or your account
- Notifications: retained for 90 days then auto-deleted
- AI chat messages: not retained by us (processed in real-time)
- Journal/Tasks/Notes: stored on device only, never retained by us
- Analytics data: retained by Firebase Analytics for 14 months
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email. Your continued use of Havfun after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
